Wheels Day 2012 Good Friday 6th April

The show season is rapidly approaching, we are all looking forward to Wheels day coming up on the 6th April.

Its been added to the Calendar :- Wheels Day

In the past we have met up at Morrisons / Horndean. Its good to get to Wheels day early to make sure you get in. Leaving at 8am on the dot. Fingers crossed for great weather.

Its also the weekend of the Santapod Easter Thunderball, I was thinking of going up there after Wheels day with a few others. It would be great like the old days of much of the club going up, so I've added this to the events calendar as well. So who is up for Santa-pod?

You will have a little one to carry around then. Santapod could be a little loud, I dont think you could buy ear defenders small enough.

Yeah i think you can as Adam & Lorraine took Hollie to Shaky when she was really young and they managed to get some for her. I will have to have a look around.

I remember leaving Morrisons at 10pm after spending all day at wheels day and arriving at santa pod stupid oclock, stopping off for coffee and wee , and having to put the tent up in the pouring rain and blowing a hooly, paul almost floating down the strip on his airbed, getting wet through oh and buying Aimee a pair of trainers there for her birthday. All in all great fun though and a brilliant weekend xx

Its only the rain that put a dampener on things. If its a full moon you have just enough light to erect a tent. Lets hope for a dry weekend with plenty of racing going on. Its gonna be awesome.

That ok, it was on page 2, so it didn't look like there was anything in here anyway.

I checked back to last year and we left at 8am then too (I think we were even held up by 10 mins) and we got to the arena at a pretty much perfect time (not much queuing at all) and it was baking hot.

Weather is Dry this Friday in Aldershot. but wrap up warm. There is a tiny bit of rain tommorow, and snow on Wednesday, but only like 8mm in total,which should drain away in plenty of time for Friday.
