Portchester Gala Classic Car Show 2024.

A few people asked for the details of this after last years event. A classic car show within the precinct of Portchester Castle.

Was a good day last year. It is free, although you do have to pre-book. It is on the Saturday, the day before the Beaulieu show on Fathers Day.

Didn't SR used to do this many years ago? used to be all parked in a half circle

I think that might have been 'Fort Rowner' which is more Gosport/Lee-On-Solent area.

Yes I think you are right Chris. Can't recall the name of the fort, but it's down near a double roundabout. Wasn't there an old wooden bridge we had to drive over to get in?

yes i rember that. i was told they stopped it because the bridge was considered no longer suitable to drive across.

Might have been Fort Brockhurst on second thoughts.
