Wasn't a bad job inner wing cover moved out way to access filter remove the expansion bottle to remove old pipe and refit new pipe 36quid for pipe put all back primed the bubble pump wasn't expecting the car to start but it did so all work so going to get back onto TA.
Got a abs sensor to change on a vw toureg .went to change it wheel of went to remove caliper but it's not a bolt not a Allen or a torch bit it's a spline bit didn't have one so ordered a brake spline caliper kit looking at kit saw a socket with a 5 sided head very strange looked into this thinking faulty kit but no the do 5 sided bolts on Merc cars what every next
so hope this helps others kit wasnt expensive either ,
must be main dealer only to get new olts if you needed one or just change to normal bolt once out high tension a1 or a2 i presume
Also pentagon Allen keys as well
done the toureg that was fun used both new kits changed the abs sensor with the black kit so was the easy part the battery was a pain you have to remove passenger seat cut the little carpet tags and fold carpet back so this told us it was the original battery 10 years old undo 4 spring clips the 2 holding brackets for battery i had put trickle battery charger leads on jump starter points in engine bay to keep any memory lifted out the feking heavy battery and reverse fitted the plugged scan tool in charging system was backing up 14.4 volts cleared the abs fault and told computer it had new battery test drove car it was like a new new is at was like it was in half limp home mode before with 16 fault codes but all good now apart for a small oil leak which the garage said was the oil drain plug strange when no oil around it the oil was coming from towards top of engine its looking like its the prv valve /inlet pipe from maf sensor into turbo just hoping its not turbo google says seal/prv pipe but its not oil drain plug,
