What have you done to your vehicle today?

same as buying parts here as well much cheaper from rockauto or summit

Don't think it's been lifted, it's a standard/stock truck that we had in the States for quite a few years.
Only went over for holidays etc but it was good to have our own truck over there.
Then Covid and not allowed in for almost two years, so brought everything back in a 40 foot Container- lock, stock and barrel + Pick up!!
We had some great times in it over there, and now want to have more with it over here!!

Wow. Think we all want this covid to go away get are lives back. Any work need or planned for truck??

Not really, just want to get it back on the road after two years and drive it, and to use it to tow my covered eco car transporter trailer. (Ginetta G27 road/race car - for Sprints etc.).
The paint on the truck is peeling a bit in places - not a real problem in Florida where it was always garaged, but will have to keep an eye on it here!!

start a new thread for truck and the ginetta,,(y)(y)(y)

And dont swear ECO indeed lol no eco or ev heres lol,,,,,,
petrol and mybe a few diesels but mostly V8(y)(y)(y)

Eco is just the manufacturer- it's a big trailer! & the ginetta is only 1800cc Zetec, but it's been "breathed on" !! So pushes out about 185bhp.

Front brakes on dacia duster DOH. Pads come away from metal plate. We hurd knocking on front on fount this great waiting on parts now. IMG_20211219_130203.jpg

Thats unusualy to happen. Do you tihnk it was badly made or excess heat somehow screwed with the bonding?

Not unusual seen it alot. Twice on the car remember the rear brakes. Think it's wear the car sits fir long periods and rust sets in the rear caliper on van had seized. And parts are cheaply made now as well. Pads for duster 26quid.

When reversing the trans am onto the drive a few days ago. I heard a knock on full lock. so wanted to get under the car and check the k-member and all other associated parts are tight, and nothing has come loose.
There is a thick plastic guard that does around the drivers side track rod end. On full locks this was getting stuck. Maybe what i felt.
It was good to get under the car. The red Camaro can be seen under the tyre. I'll get back onto that one day.

One day lol it like tomorrow... Tomorrow never comes as they say 😁😁😁😁

Ordered some oil from Opie Oils, the SOLENTR discount code still gives us 10%
Ordered 20 litre barell as its a little cheaper than buying 4x5litres cans. I'm always going to use it. Currently keep topping up every 100 miles with about 1/2 litre. Once the camaro is moved I'll take a look at the rear main seal. Also need to do an oil change too. I have filters etc...

Great photos. You look like you have been busy. Does he drive cars like a rally driver? He seems to be keeping you busy with issues on his vehicles.

Lol. The roads at the moment full of pot holes and dusters are built cheap. But as you say yes done alot so far over 4 years wonder what will be next??
No mustang work bench used this time lol
