All done new fuel filter and glow plug in. Yes ohm check and cleared fault code. Filter had done about 20k if glow plug was from new then that's done 50k.

Lucky it was number 4 not the others as I would need to remove the injector fuel pipe as unable to get long reach 10mm socket in.

Test drive for 2 days all good strange that clear fuel pipes was showing air bubbles in pipe when running but didn't show any bad issues when driving but as I was doing glow plug I changed it and no air bubbles in pipe now result.

your right , but what is cheap about V8 ownership ?and i needed 2 as i have an oversize sump. however if i look after it ,it should outlive me

That's right, you get what you pay for. Also, our V8's do far less milage than your daily/work vehicle and should last longer.

That reminds me. I always carry 5 litres in that TA incase of topping up. It's now empty and need to decanter it from the 20 litre container. I could order by that barrel but that 20 litre containers worked out cheaper.
Also how do you pour from the barrel into the engine? Forklift and straps and funnel? Or like this?

With a hand pump or a garage might use a air pump.

It was about 100quid for drum so cheaper than your 20lts.
