Throw away and get a real Duster?
Sounds like parts are harder to get hold of than an older US car.

Dacia duster is 2014 and yes parts do seam to be a pain to get hold of if not service items. Prop shaft. Was a pain rear brake shoes think was Germany.

update on new tyres road noise is a lot less so that helps , no reply back yet from e bay seller ref wiper motor

At the show in Selsey yesterday, heard a clonk on the front end. I could manually cause it by lifting the cr nd puching down on the wing. Feeling the top of the suspention I could feel a vibration.
Drove the car home and reversing into the garage I could hear it, it sounded engine related. I guess it was vibration of the engine causing something to move.

So today, took the wheel off and took a look, chekcing the bolts of all the suspention parts.

Greesed all the nipples.

Checked the 4 bolts at the top. i could get half a turn on them. I guess things have settled over time. Trying to recreate the sound and it appeard to have gone.

Drove down to Southsea for the cruise, and all sounds good. The sounds has gone. Could half a turn on shomething which shows no sign of movement really make a difference, well i guess it did.

Spotted you on the Hambledon road tonight between ASDA and Milton Rd.

Behind the Asda van, did you see him go around the roundabout?, almost on 2 wheels and again turning into Hartplain avenue.
I dont recall seeing your Honda or Mustang. were you in disguise?

In disguise, in the back of a red Civic going the other way.

i am taking a guess here on bolt size at 5/16 unf that is 24 tpi thats is just over 1 mm per turn of the nut . .0417" or 1.059 mm if anybody want's the precise figure . so yes, maynot be enough to move up and down but could slide sideways in the bolt hole

Fixed the wing mirror.

Had a spare red one, using the inners.

Transferring the bracket over, thought it was plastic, it's actually cast, perhaps cast aluminum.

All good now.

What cased it I believe was someone from the pub trying to squeeze between two cars, perhaps hoping the wing mirrors would move. It was fine going to club night and floppy when we left. Last one latest 22 years, hope this fix lasts another 22.

Check pub camera might catch who did it just a thought

Disconnected everything ready to lift the head off
