What have you done to your vehicle today?

Was just thinking about this and I recall that the light was so inefficiently made and consumed so much power that the car was often plugged into the mains when they were showing the light!
If they used filament bulbs as Dan says, I'm not surprised lol. A few those lit together would soon have flattened the battery

To give it a run, I drove the Grand Prix to get our click and collect shopping order. The current rules don't specify what type of car you have to use ;)

I went into office to collect some more work and then popped to supermarket - like you say they don’t say what type of car you have to use so it had to be done - roof down too :)

Productive morning on the Solstice

Changed the oil. Although only got 5100 miles on the clock and whilst being 12 years old we believe the filter was original. So not sure if oil change has ever been done before :(

For some reason when the car came over here and the lights were converted there was no reversing light so fitted one.

Refitted a sticker under the engine bay that had come off.

Refitted two letters of the word “Solstice” on the back as had to take them off when had stripes redone

Ok - picture of oil filter - looks pretty naff and almost looks as though it’s collapsed :(

Indeed! I really wish I'd taken a picture of the Grand Prix at the Asda Click and Collect yesterday!
There was a big queue of cars behind me though.
This was taken just before I left. Just noticed that the GP and Solstice both have NZ on their plates! lol

Nice oil filter well worth changing did you watch or get dirty???

Can't be you A. T surely not lol

Been doing tiling in the kitchen. Managed to get an hour under the car admiring the bits and adjusting the length of the LCAs so it's now 487.5mm from the center of the bolt on the body to the center of the axle with wheels off the ground. There was about 3mm difference. Original length was set by the stock length LCAs.
Off for my weekend walk in a bit.
