Peter Sissons, former BBC & ITV news reporter has died.

I still remember hearing “and now here’s the evening news with Peter Sissons” coming from the TV in my parents house.

I didn't recognise the name, but after searching I certainly remember seeing him on telly.

I remember him. Very sad. And 77 is no great age really these days. The BBC's Hugh Edwards was taking about him on the BBC News channel today. Sounds like he was quite a character off screen with a great sense of humour.
