Working on the side vents on the wing.

I 3D printed the ones on the hood. I want a little bit of yellow in the ones on the side just like the ones on the hood.

I have scanned in the wing holes, and designing the side vents to clip in. The hexagons are a little larger.

Just about to draw up the clips on the back, then ready to print.

Not done another test fit. Hopefully all will be fine. At a cost of £1.68 for all 4, its not a great loss if I need to print again. If its only a little bit out I can modify with a stanly blade.

First print ended up being too brittle. The clips snapped. Need to relook into the design. ABS has some flexibility, could be moisture, temperature or layer thickness while printing.

Yeah seems that way.
The old ones are okay so popped them back on until I modify the design and re-print.
