Choldonary event 2026

Went to choldonary Castle transport event yesterday was going to take the Ta. But weather for weekend wasn't looking to great so booked the mustang instead. Rained during the night so glad I had booked the mustang left as 7am no rain grey clouds go to cobowen roundabout services other side of Oswestry dry clouds clearing 1.96pl lt. 2.06 in Leominster the day b4 feking hell. Dad brought 2 sandwiches 9 quid day light robbery. Satnav took us through malpas village that wasn't fun sleeping policeman and potholes bumpy ride or what then road closures diversions in place what a pain corvette was lost as well they were having fun as well. But we got there in time. By the time we got to little bridge to enter field the que behind us was long they gave another half hour to allow vechiles to get in. Voice on mic in arena said 1200 vechiles came don't worry I didn't take 1200 pics lol.. Just a few below wait for the YouTube vids then post on here lots were walking around taking vids.

OK dad bright at food at service station big mastake but when I food s dearer at shows sometimes when there overheads are less unless event are getting greatly with pitch fees fish and chips in Leominster was 19.80 for 2 small cod and chips with 4 tomatoe sauses at events it's 14 just for single cod and chips and get less. Rant over lol.... 4quid for coffee same size cup asmac Donald's regular coffee..

1200 is a lot of cars. That's more than Beaulieu.
Do the local petrol stations sponsor the event?

Fords and kit cars were getting a lot of attention the steampunk vw got award , you could of got a few more vehicles in but public numbers were down, yes all the petrol station around the area are mega expensive so far Leominster to be the worst ok its in he opposite direction , trade stands think were doing ok food buyers were down just mainly buying drink

I do like the Opel Mantas. Used to have one a long long time ago. First liked the shape when I saw a new one coming to school to pick someone up.
