Wow. Haven’t you got enough on your plate or did you just fancy challenging yourself even more?! ;)

Well, the firebird has become a bigger deal than i expected with removing buckets of filler and fabrication so it's a longer project and no rush, bits left are bonnet, roof, and 1 quarter panel to strip of paint, passenger door however looks like it needs some fab work. The camaro on the other hand only needs paint attention and zero welding, as its "all there" i will work between the two cars while i can and have at least one possibly to use as there does not seem to be an end to Furlough for me yet.

Had a quick tinker with the Firebird and got the handbrake warning light working. Only a minor thing I know... and there are much more important jobs that need doing, but it was irritating me that it didn't work lol...

Programmed the ECU with changes from last time I drove it, while having the ignition on and not running, I could hear something off, like a hissing sound. Thought perhaps the dash fan sound with a leaf caught in it. So got out to have a better listen. Looking under the car I could see dripping fluid. Popped the hood, it was a fuel pipe between original fuel lines and the fuel rails, it's got a double jubilee screw clip, was weeping. This hasn't been touched since the engine rebuild. Tightened up and all fine, will keep checking and perhaps add another jubilee clip.
Test drive with new suspention adjustments felt really good. Steering felt good. Got what I needed at Asda and parked near another American car.
Nice to get out in the car even though it was only 3 miles.
