Waterlooville Car Show

OK so it has been agreed that we will meet up the hill on Saturday 3rd July @ 8:45am to leave @ 9:00am. We have to be in place by 9:30am as the show starts @ 10:00am. We also have to stay in place until the show ends i believe which is around 3:00pm. If you need to leave earlier then please advise one of the organisers and they will escort you out of the car park.

Hiya Mark. Debbie at Havant council has said that she has already received your entrant form however she is going to send all the passes to me and i will give them out up the hill prior to cruising tothe show. Should be a great turnout again. See you then.

Thats perfectly ok Darren as i will have spare passes so you can just turn up on the day if you not sure whats going to happen yet.

So you play bass eh? H, my hubby, is learning at the moment but like you trying to find the time to practice is hard. However you probably know more than him as he only got it at Christmas thanks to his truly wonderful wife - me!!!
Cool, I will let you know beforehand, but I'm hoping to make it.

To be honest, I don't know a huge amount about bass and really should learn more. I used to play guitar and moved over to bass to be in the band I play for at the moment. I really need to find some time as playing a festival with no rehearsal is a bad idea  I'm on holiday for a week in July too, so I have about 4 weeks pracitice, so I should be fine.

Do we have ideas on the weather for this Saturday? Fingers crossed for a good one. Weather been great recently. I believe its due to rain tonight but after that sun again. I will try to polish my shiny bits before I arrive this time.

We may have a visit from Debbie a PTSO from Waterlooville Police station, as there is a charity event on the 28th Aug and are in need of some classic cars.

Just to advise you i have received all the passes as well as some blank ones should someone turn up that doesn't have one however there are only a few so it will be 1st come 1st served. I will give them out up the hill on Saturday morning. Weather looks good at the moment so fingers crossed by the end of the week it stays that way.

I will be going, if you dont see me up the hill, I will be waiting behind the Heroes pub if I'm running a little late. Been hectic the last couple of days, two early starts at Goodwood Festival of speed. Drove the new Vette ZR1.

Drove the new Vette ZR1.

Goes quite well I hear, 0 to 100 in 3.9 (Or was that 0 - 60). So, have you ordered one? Might see Paul off in something not too far off a 'Reliant Robin' :001_07:.

What a good turn out!! Everyone who attended did the club proud, better than the classic english ones just down the precinct!!!!
I would like to give a very big personal Thanks to Steve for letting my kids trash his Van!!! They did nothing but talk about it on the way home and are now pestering me to get one!!!

Well i didn't see you there but then i did hit the shops pretty hard today. This and Alton are two good shows for some retail therapy haha!! Won't be at club Tuesday as off to Turkey so see you when i get back.
Al, buy your wife and the kids a van. They'll love it!!! haha!!

You take some wicked photos Darren. I am into Photography myself but only as a complete newbie. I took the majority of the photos at my brother's wedding last week and they come out rather well. He was pleased with them as he didn't have to pay a stupid amount of money for them!!

Oh no have i gone and lost my videoing job every third Sunday!!! lol!!!!

Pics not bad Darren but you missed out the beautiful green mustang with the silver stripe, MINE, !! not happy ha ha ha lol ,. But a huge thankyou to Shawn (Mason) for helping me polish my car, a true gentleman !!! take care xx
