Placed my rockauto order got magnet as well my T shirt and coffee mug I ordered as well. But forgot to get rocker cover gaskets doh managed to find rockauto code on line for my 1st order but my 2nd order I couldn't but Dan came to rescue with code.
Strange how the code is getting harder to get hold of but it's quicker to get parts from USA than it is here in UK and a hell of a lot cheaper than here as well. The coffee cup even fits in cup holder in mustang

Needed a 02 sensor tools as its a pain to get to on the A3 top one fine but the one after the cat dpf is a pain. Ordered a 5 peace kit from UK supplier nearly 10 days with chasing order as they said they had delivered it and had not 3 days with e mails I now have kit. How come USA can get it right but UK cannot should of ordered it from rockauto old tool section.
I have a set you could borrow, if only you were local. I guess I will need to move to Wales.

Yeah, its been going on for a few months now. It seems far easier to buy elsewhere. Might cost more, but less hassle than having many things in your shopping basket, wasting time, only to find they wont ship it.

Just tried on summit racing it say it will ship to UK so wonder why not on rockauto bit strange

The thing is rock auto can't declare that it really dosn't contain any Russian parts along it's manufacture. Many parts made in china, raw materials may have come from Russia. Documentation of things from China is rare and if there is it's likely false. Rockauto can't say without a doubt it dosn't contain anything from Russia.
My work is based in that US they have to pay higher tariffs of components made in china. The parts being silicon chips. The silicon part may be made outside if China but final packaging the silicon into the chip housing is done in china making it subject to tariffs. There are some packaging places outside if China. Work have a lot of buying power and causing a lot of these IC vendors to make sure they manufacture outside if China. However the price goes up, so it is a balance of tariffs and final cost.
Atleast when I brought my Wilwood brakes there was no concerns about Russia or China. All made in the US.
It is getting harder to buy parts that are not made in China. Even my blooming Kansei wheels have made in China stamped on the inside. They are roughly made in China and finished in California, so atleast they had some form of quality control. No issues yet, but usually I avoid anything China related if I can. Cheep tools are made from toffee, anything electrical either lasts a few weeks if it dosn't catch fire.
I am glad the UK are stopping some containers from China with electric scooters. That's saves a few household fires. I have a friend that just loves Temu. His kids said a Temu charger was sparkling. Scary stuff, I would eject everything Temu related from the house. Quality just isn't there, you can't really send stuff back if it fails. I think the government should step in. We should manufacture more stuff in the UK. There was a time when you say a British flag on a product and it was related to quality. People dont seem to want quality these days and happy to buy cheap and it not being fit for purpose.
