New pump has arrived today. This is part of my tuning stuff. My old 255lph@40psi pump is quite old now. I@m running around 82% of its capacity, little room for overheads, like volt drops etc.

My new AEM one has arrived today, 340lph@40psi, is around 310lph@58psi. Draws around 12amps, the current one is 9-10amps. I'll be upgading cabling. Also add a relay switch near the pump. the original relay will operate my new relay. Minimal changed to the original wiring. I aim to take a 10AWG power feed from the battery(fused right next to the battery)

More pictures coming for the install. Could be a few weeks out yet.

Before fitting this new pump, I will change the fuel pressure regulator, that sits in the tank right next to the pump. Only going into the tank once. Not been in there for around 15+ years. My fuel pressure regulator is as old as the car. Its a cheap enough part. Ordered from rock auto. It is on its way, but took a wrong turn. Must have been cheaper to go via Dublin then Germany before arriving at Castle donnington before it got stuck going towards Penzance.

I have other things to do before fitting the pump and regulator, like running in a new thicker power wire, and a relay near the pump. I have the wire and relay ready to go. Need to look where I can fit the relay, ideally right next to the connector for the pump. Weather that will be in the car behind the seat where the wires go out the car to the tank, or on top of the tank. I'll take a look. This is the relay, comes with the connector and wires attached, even a mounting bracket if I choose to use it.

After the annoyance of UPS sending through parcel back to RockAuto. Not bothering to call it email me as they shouldn't find PO8 postcode in Penzance. I got charged return shipping. Rock auto and UPS say it's not their problem. Lost the entire cost of the order of near on £100 an no item to show for it.
Well I ordered some 3D printer filament from 3DJake.UK. it's PETG material, transparent Red, going to use it to print a rear light lens. Even though the website is UK the item ended up coming from Vienna. It came via FedEx it's been sitting at the local depot in Alton since the 21st. Tracking always saying it will be delivered tomorrow by 6pm. Tomorrow never comes, it's been 10days. I am concerned that I have lost this too.
Called FedEx last week, flipping computer you have to speak to, after giving tracking info they said I called the wrong number and need to call another. It read out the number so fast I didn't get it all. The computer would repeat it either. As I had a partial number I could Google the rest. Called it, same computer voice answered, this time it did understand the tracking number and said it will be delivered by 1pm. Well it was already 4pm, so that certainly wasn't going to happen.
Very annoying I can't get to speak to a person. I could try to locate them in Alton and drive there, but it's probably not laid out for visitors and a security fence all round. I am concerned they have lost it, or worst still it gets returned to sender and I pay return shipping and restocking again.
Could rely on delivery companies. Both UPS and FedEx gone down on my rankings. Are they short of staff, can't be bothered to deliver to a residential address? Is there is a problem it's likely my phone number or email address is on the package along with the address.

i have had this with dpd [ dozy parcel delivery's] said nobody home, there was two people at the time, i was in the garage with door open.
they showed a picture of a different house. then returned parcel to sender

Evri are just as bad at the moment.

I emailed 3DJake.UK, see if they can see what is up with FedEx from their end. They are a UK based company but their stock/warehouse is in Europe. Should't be a problem. I really dont know what is going on with FedEx.

Just logged into 3DJake.UK, and looked at the account details. For some reason they have missed off the door number.

Updated it there, and called FedEx. Actually managed to speak to a real person and get the door number updated. So it was probably my fault all along on this one. I was sure the address was all correct as it auto filed in. 🤪
