Sounds like a good turnout! That custom Lincoln convertible with the oversized round '30s style headlights is striking. That's one of the weirder custom fads from the '70s!

I sometimes appreciate modified cars if they are done well and look right, but that's subjective. I like my own cars to be as bone stock as possible!

Yeah it's annoying that it has to be done, but I have definitely seen a lot worse.

It's a conversion for rear fogs & amber indicators but it's quite a neat one as they do fit flush(ish). The previous owner informed me that they're Land Rover Discovery rear lights.

Thanks! I'd hate to see her broken but I have to accept that's a possibility. Still much better it being put to good use in that way by an enthusiast than going to the scrapyard I suppose. It has served me well for seven years but don't have enough time or the skills to fix it up properly...

I just bought this 2000 Buick Century as a daily run-around. Maybe not the most exciting-looking of cars but it is a great, smooth cruiser. Loving the bench seats with column change too! It has a 3.1 litre V6, 175bhp. The bodywork is in great shape as it spent most of its life in Spain.

Cool, thanks guys, that has reassured me. For info I live Portsmouth, and the Bonneville has a 4T60-E transmission. Four-speed with "overdrive" (just a five-speed with a tall 5th really).
