The 6 Dams | Elan Valle

We went to the Elan valley dams today well impressed really good day , we got there around 10 am the water looks so still you see a reflection on the valley in the water then the brezze got up after lunch and the water looked so differant had a walk and lunch at the Elan valley hotel as well into the center car park and the porche owners club were driving out the the merc owner club were by the center then when we got back there was a farriere in the car park shame next time sort out an american car road trip, sorry pictures of the cars just the various dams,

That took a while for me to work out what you were on about lol

Nice pictures. We were in North Wales last week for a break. Climbed Snowdon but couldn’t quite get to the summit due to snow! Then climbed another mountain called Cadair Idris and felt a bit sunburned! Also did this Zip World Velocity - The Fastest Zip Line in the World | Zip Worl
 
North wales last week did you enjoy it? Been told we miss 1 dam so look like we are going back and for the forest walk alone reservoir

Yes, but it’s one of those places that having now done it there is no drive to go back to.
Unlike our summer location down in Sidmouth that we return to regularly. Why? Who knows? Just drawn there whereas Wales was ok, been there and that’s enough.

I’ve got video clips of our zip wire ride but don’t know how to get them on here ...... :)
 
After replacing vaundas wiper motor on her car we dicided to go out for a carvery and visit elan valley dam again after the heavy wind and rain we have had this week,
video's by my phone but hope you get the sence feeling of the water???

Dam (excuss the expression) how do upload video ? not the same as doing a picture,

Thanks dan for uploading them,

you cant really feel the forse the water has unless you are near it the video's give you some idea,
you think these 4 Dams were build many many years ago doing well, in winter parts of it freeze and great picture slot coming i think? depends if the roads are clear or not???

Wow lovely. I love water falls :). When I was learning how to take pictures with my proper camera when I first got it - it was great to get a moving shot of water. I’ll try and find one I did :)

who watched the motor bike show at the weekend ? heny cole visited the Dam and rode some on the local roads have to agree great roads around these parts but not at nite from deveils bride to aber
