Vehicle Mileage

Was a little shocked to work out my mileage last night, and even more shocked to work out what I'd spent on fuel!!!

Remember, the car was little used between Oct 2013 and Mar 2014 (typical winter lay up!), and the I kept the mileage low early in the season as I was thinking about selling.

Late Aug 2013 - 39554
3rd Aug 2014 - 41832

Total - 2278

Average MPG - 20

Cost per gallon - ?5.85

For a total of ?666 spent

Power and economy - gotta love the LSx!
Still got a few more shows and the Vette is coming on holiday with us, so I anticipate at least another 1200-1500 miles this year.

Good stuff. I done a few miles a few years back, was on ?700 a month for fuel. lol. Filled up every 2 to 3 days.
Every mile brings a smile. So I know what you mean about LSx. You can be careful or go mad depending how much you want to spend on fuel.

Mine's my only car so no chance of keeping the mileage that low, although I walk to work some days, which helps, and work is only 3 miles away in any case. I do about 6-7000 miles a year now, which is pretty low.

Average 26mpg - although mine is only a V6, albeit a supercharged one.
