Ripping off the line with 560 horsepower this mid-engine American economy sporty looking car is now getting into the low 10 seconds for the quarter mile. If his eight-cylinders and 10 pounds of boost from a 72mm turbo weren"t enough to get his blood pumping he also is has equipped the Fiero with an electronic transmission controller. It sounds like the driver is the founder of the gearbox controller company from the brief YouTube video description where 1320video shares, read and watch below.Producing over 500 HP in a compact structure means it should be reinforced to a major level though the driver in the video says he has only done minor tweaks. Modifications like larger axles and spindles keeping the same rear suspension. From the video the driver looks like he has electronics on his side from the way the car is launching so well. The brilliance in the customization is the symphony between that big V8 and the gearbox this guy has tuned. The Fiero driver"s company MagnaShift, link here, manufactures the electronic gearbox controllers like the one used on this car which works like a dreams. It stabs, darts and flies down the drag way. The most amazing thing to me is how did he fit all that engine into the Fiero plus a turbo. The car customization process itself would be as exciting as this drag video but I"ll be happy for now.
