Run2Remember

Just have to decide on the next goal - has to be something to aim at.
1/2 marathan in 2015 and a full one in 2016 maybe? :eeek:

Yikes - but could be a great goal to work towards :)

Then 2017 two marathons a year. How about by 2020 a marathon a day for a year, Man runs marathon every day for a year - CNN.com some people are mad, he had asthma as a child and was told he would never be able to do exercise, well he certainly proved them wrong.

Let's get through Saturday first lol

1 day to go - yikes ;)

Well, the weather for tomorrow looks terrible! - why couldn't it stay dry for us?
Lots of last minute sponsorship coming in from work colleagues too which is great. To be honest though - I just want to do it and get it out the way now.
Then of course - set a new goal!

Bloomin typical considering last Saturday it was warm.

Well what can I say but wow. Shame the weather wasn't kinder but hey ho! What an awesome morning. Started off with the military wives choir who were awesome. Then we had 10 minute military warmup (that knackered us out!). Then we had a two minute silence and away we went.

It was a hard course as it was muddy grass for the first 1km. Then it was a couple of k's of up and down hills. The last uphill was very steep. Then the last 1k was the same as the first 1k but muddier.

So, Dave's goal was to be less than 30 mins - here is Dave's time:

My goal was to be less than 40 mins - here is my time:

All in all a great time and between us ?305 towards the Royal British Legion.

Next year? The 11k - maybe! Anyone want to join us??

I expect that will be a Run2Remember, its such a great achievement, and what's even better such great times too.
