Road legal track tyres

Anyone looked into running these on their car. With all that rubber should really increase grip, although could be bad in the wet.

Meant to be legal even in the UK. Never seen almost slicks for road use.
 
Yes, Toyo do a good range of them. Given the dry use only nature of my old Trans Am and suspension mods I was going to run a set but couldn’t get them in a suitable size.
As with any upgrade, it will exploit the next weakness. In this case likely to be something related to the sprung components of the suspension. I imagine rubber bushings will deflect more and wear prematurely and likewise with ball joints.
