Renegades Newsletter 43, 24th Sept 2019
Hi All,

The Renegades End of Season Show on the 20th Oct is almost here. We are still collecting raffle prizes. All money raised is for the Mad Hatters charity which we raised a whopping £450 for at the show in April.

You may or may not have noticed a new website. Why the change? Well gradually things have stopped working, like adding photos to the photo gallery, difficult logging in without removing cookies and many other things. Also it was difficult to use from a mobile device. Not many use the website which is a factor of many things, accessibility from a mobile, ease of use and people prefer to use Facebook. You will notice many club websites have disappeared. It will take a lot for ours to disappear, I enjoy keeping it going. We have over 50k photos from various car shows, you can tag users in photos, easily share links, sell items you no longer need. You can even get it to email you when a response to your question is posted.

The website sends out emails to users who haven't visited in a while, you don't have to do anything, it's just to give people a gentle reminder we are still here. You can also enroll in receiving this 'event list info' from the website, if you know someone that would like to receive this via email, they needs a website users account which is free to create and then subscribe to ‘Events’ on this page https://www.solent-renegades.co.uk/dbtech-mail/. The calendar has events as it did before with links for more information. An area to write about your car and easily add photos. Create photo albums and upload photos direct from a mobile device or PC. Some user accounts did not get imported if you hadn’t posted. So you may need to create a new account. If you have any questions just let me know.

Roger is selling his AC Cobra Dax Tojeiro. Had loads of fun over the last 3 years of ownership but feel it's time for a change. Up for sale at Arun Ltd at the moment & open to sensible offers. Contact him for more pics and info.

Yes all to the Solent renegades email address :)
At least you know I will have it lol

41 people on the mailing list now. These a genuine people that want to be included in receiving the list. This is great. Nice to have the following, and nice to send out useful information to let people know when shows are on.

Interestingly, the last one I received was only two years ago! I thought they stopped long before that.

Good work though.....
