3rd April - Wheels Day
Wheels Day by SSR is the biggest Aldershot Car Show of the year and falls on Good Friday based at Rushmore Arena, Aldershot, Hampshire. They were limited to 750 vehicles, and although the field looks a quarter full, it probably wasn't far off 750. we had around 14 club cars at this event, good convoy there, and no queue waiting to get in.

3rd & 4th April - Chichester Cineworld Cinema
For the release of the Fast ‘n’ Furious film on Friday 3rd April & Saturday 4th April the Cinema asked for any American cars similar to the ones appeared in the films, like Camaros, Mustangs, Chargers or a Cuda etc.. to park up outside the front of the cinema to help promote the film. Many club members came along on the Friday and Saturday, which also helped promoted our start of season show.

Meet on the hill to leave at 9.30am to convoy down.
So if you are interested in going, please can you let me know, so i can give them an idea of numbers.

21st June - Custom & Hot Rod Festival at Beaulieu MuseumA single day event this year, on Fathers Day. This event has the Solent Renegades name to it. How good is that!?!, The Victory Wheelers decided that they didn’t want to do Beaulieu any longer, and Beaulieu wanted to find another club and we were mentioned, Keith from the Wheelers put in a very good word for us. The initial meeting went well, a draft contract has been made by Beaulieu, mainly saying we need to advertise this event in all ways we can, i.e. Facebook, forums, flyers at car shows(they supply flyers) etc. They will advertise in magazines once we have let them know a list of the best ones to advertise in. We need to have a good show of club cars, and help bring in as many American and Hot Rod vehicles as possible. So what's in it for us? Well not only is it a great boost for the club name, they will buy us banners, and a few other club related items we need. This is the best way as we no longer have a club bank account. This could be a start of a great partnership with Beaulieu, and in years to come could be a weekend event again.

Extra content for the website is much appreciated. Thanks to everyone who has started writing. Again anyone can take part in this. For more info visit:- http://www.solent-renegades.co.uk/readers-rides/14895-have-your-car-featured-renegades-front-page-2.html
We now have a sale section on the website called ‘classifieds’ so if you have any car parts you want to list then give it a go. So any engine parts, of vehicles you want to sell, its http://www.solent-renegades.co.uk/classifieds.php and works a little like eBay, payment you can arrange with the buyer, or via payPal, and its free to list items. Certainly worth giving ago.

Also if anyone needs stickers for their cars see Alec who has a vinyl cutter and makes them himself. Has a huge book of examples, or you can have your own custom one done.

Thanks for reading.

Just emailed this out to all registered people on the forum that haven't unsubscribed. There is 1100 emails in the queue, most of them are probably spam accounts, but their email much have been valid at time of sign up. I was sure it was only a count of 700 last month. I wonder if we have many new members too. Anyway, if you havn't got it as an email yet, it wont be long before it comes though. :)

Received here - thanks Dan

Matt, looks like the last few emails bounced back and it automatically unsubscribed you after the 3rd time. I have popped you back on the list.

i didn't either.....
Very odd, it went to your ntlworld.com email account, no sign of it bouncing back. Clares went to her solent-renegades.co.uk account. Could it be in an ntlworld spam filter?
