One of my mates had a Suzuki X7 with a Micron and Boyesen reed valves fitted. It sounded the part and it's power band was vicious!

Blimey now I know I am an old fart!!!! Passed my m/c test on a BSA B40 in 1970. Apart from the odd outing on them the following year not ridden since. Much prefer 4 wheels.

I prefer the relative comfort and safety of a car, especially in the wet... or in an accident of course, but as AT says, there is something about the freedom and independence a bike offers. And notwithstanding our common interest in cars, the camaraderie between bikers is great. There hardly seems to be any between general car drivers.
