The invoices were generated with a program called quickbooks, its one of the cheapest accounts packages. I have it. when something is marked as paid, it does an overlay print on the invoices. To be honest he could have generated them invoices himself. I was looking at them before I saw your comment. Some high end car sales place using very low end accounts package looks a bit odd.
