No men with umbrellas in reflections Chris?

Yes very hot last night. Had the mobile air con in my spare room while working yesterday, actually got goosebumps, it was like walking into a fridge, very nice. When it came to night time I wheeled it into the bedroom for the first time. Stuck it on a sturdy box to the hose would reach out the window. It blows a lot of hair on the lowest setting, so its a toss up of noise or heat stopping you sleep. Managed to get to sleep with it on, set to 20deg c it got too cold in the night, had to turn it up. Thing is you probably only need air-con for 1 week of the year, so not really worth investing in one, however I got it for the garage as it was getting so hot out there, 52 degrees on the roof on the inside.

 on the road this morning

If one runs out in front of you and you hit it, can't to take it home?

Not sure on this, but I’m sure if you hit a deer or pheasant or similar you are not allowed to take it home. However, the driver of the next car can!
Seems a bit unfair, you damage your car and don’t even get to eat the son of a bitch but the next person does!!
I suppose it stops people doing it deliberately if true though.

Quite true, pretty sure it would be classed as Poaching if the first vehicle stops to pick up the prize.

Remember this is wales not England might be different?.

Be honest if you saw a road kill would you pick it up? See dead sheep badgers rabbits squirrels on the road wouldn't want to pick them up.

Spotted a snake in the water. It did move after I took the photo. This was on a walk in Stanstead woods. Don't know the type of snake so I didn't get close.

That would be a Grass Snake, Adders don't swim. Grass Snakes are good swimmers and are just as happy in the water as on land.

Here's one I saw some years ago.....

I know people dont like these but he was so cute - just outside our house. It ventured off into the hedgerow on the opposite side of the road :)
