Amounts to the same thing. If security isn’t in the design then it’s not in the final version of the software.
I get you. I suppose by design it should have been able to prevent the error.Amounts to the same thing. If security isn’t in the design then it’s not in the final version of the software.
Could be..., Sarah had a test, and you write your phone number on the bit of paper with the test sample and send it off. Easy for an error t be made in writing or the person interpreting it at the other end. With millions of tests being done, I'm surprised this hasn't come up more often.I wonder if that was down to human error as opposed to the app?
. With millions of tests being done, I'm surprised this hasn't come up more often.
. Out of interest, how would you answer that?
. By comparison, I wouldn't say that in the case of, say China,
You are quoting situations in countries of very different cultures to ours and that we as a nation despise and have learned from.I wonder when China ceased to be a free country?
Just after the outbreak of the second-Sino war in 1937?
Or did Europe when Realise what Hitler would almost succeed in doing? Imagine how the tech today would have improved his chances of success.
Both very examples that occurred over a time period short enough to affect your kids.
Ask a Russian or other Eastern block country citizen how their lives improved after the fall of the USSR and how Putin has done so much to return to those times.
I’m not selling a view either, pointless exercise as you and I are poles apart.
But I do wonder if you have ever really considered where this might end up?
Think of your kids, the future your advocating does affect them and will do so far more than you and it’s not a good future.
Don’t sell their privacy short. It’s a right but not for much longer unless we defend it.
You are quoting situations in countries of very different cultures to ours and that we as a nation despise and have learned from.
Yes, of course I have considered where this might end up... my opinion is nowhere that we need to worry about.
And no, I don't believe I am selling my children's privacy short. I am saying that in this country, I believe our lives and their future would ultimately be better with surveillance than without it.
I agree, we do disagree on this... that's what "fair enough" means lol.
Yes, to illustrate WHY the lost their freedom. You bought China into the equation, I merely questioned when they lost their freedom.
Parts of it, of course! And mainland Europe, a vastly different culture to ours? Interesting.
Well, you replied! lolSo the remaining question is, this thread is about GDPR, our right to privacy and exposure when that right is breached. So what are you doing here?
Yes, to illustrate WHY the lost their freedom.
Parts of it, of course!
Well, you replied! lol
What is the point of posting a forum thread on an emotive subject if there isn't meant to be any resulting discussion which may include opposing opinions?
What is this? Speaker's corner! Lol
Guys, just for the record regarding the above, Dave responded to my messages several times after this..so I assumed we were getting along again. I also sent him polite private messages to try and reconcile things. You even suggested to me that we stay out of each other’s threads..
