This week"s Dyno Blast video features a 2000 Chevrolet Camaro SS on the rollers. This Camaro is packing an LS1 V8 with worked heads and an aftermarket camshaft although there is no further information as to what type of heads and cam combo he is running. It also sounds like this Camaro has some exhaust work, but the most significant modifications are the heads and camshaft. The video is short and sweet, with this 2000 Camaro SS quickly coming up through the RPM for the dyno run, at which point we get to hear the worked LS1 clear its throat. After a few seconds of wide open throttle, the driver of the Camaro brings her down and the cameraman turns to show us the dyno screen. The result was 372 rear wheel horsepower and 364 lb-ft of rear wheel torque, with a corrected number of 380 rear wheel horsepower when the 100 degree temps were taken into account.Crank up your speakers and enjoy!Tags: 4th gen Camaro, camaro, Camaro SS, Dyno Blast, ls1
