In the UK the clocks go forward 1 hour at 1am on the last Sunday in March, and back 1 hour at 2am on the last Sunday in October.

The period when the clocks are 1 hour ahead is called British Summer Time (BST). There's more daylight in the evenings and less in the mornings (sometimes called Daylight Saving Time).

When the clocks go back, the UK is on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

The end of BST also marks the end of the road for the TATA until spring.
I have a major project I want to complete and will be ordering parts for very soon.

Still, we get an extra hours sleep!

I wonder when they will stop with clock manipulation. In this day and age, it's not really required.

It wasn't done is the really old days with Sundials.

Yes it probably does. It can't be farmers, as they just get up at sunrise and start work, they didn't rely on clocks.
Surely it would have been best to just change your working hours than to change everyone's clocks. I guess there was some good reason behind it.

I hate it - dark mornings - dark evenings - boooooooo!

Yep, drive to work in the dark, and go home in the dark.

Same as for people that have to work the graveyard shift:wave:
