Seems like an early start, however the show gets very busy if a nice sunny day. We have almost not been able to get in in that past.
We display the times months in advance so it can be in people diary's
We might find weather bad on the day and we park on the front row.
Maybe we see what it's like this year, and perhaps adjust the October meeting tine next year. The may one is also 8.45 time up the hill.
However some people have said its going to be a wet weekend, and someone said its going to be hot on Sunday. We shall see.
Fingers crossed for a dry one. Not many from the club going due to other commitments. I do look forward to walking to the Barlew Mo for breakfast. Mick with the blue Tourino is planning on coming to the show but I dont think he could walk to the Barley mo comfortabley, and dont wqnt to leave him behind, so perhaps we have breakfast as a place nearby.
On the way back from hayling just south of the roundabout for the A27. On the right hand side there were 2 fire engines and 6 police cars. There was an White SUV, backwards on the other side of the railings. Air bags had gone off. I may be able to check on dashcam, but as its the other side of the road, details may be dodgy.
I was surprised how many police and fire engines were there. Wonder was it extra do to potential fire risk of a possible EV with battery damage after hitting the railings? Yeah I know petrol catches fire too, but you have more than 2 seconds to get out, and petrol fires can be put out and controlled in a sensible time. I seems the emergency services were assuming high risk.
EV battery's stay hot hold there heat so possible re ignition thermal imaging be used as well. You be suprised how hot ballests chokes get in light fittings before led came out. Get hot enough to start fires depending on what they are fitted on.
