Novitec"s Lamborghini Urus may not have as much power as the tuned SUV du-jour, the Brabus G V12 900, but it is quicker. Mainly, we suspect, because it doesn"t have the aerodynamic properties of a row of terraced houses. The German tuner"s modifications (a plug-and-play control module, a new exhaust system and probably a few other bits) take the Lambo"s 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 to 771bhp and 761lb ft - 130bhp and 134lb ft more than standard. The result is 0-62mph in 3.3 seconds and a top speed just shy of 200mph. This, remember, is basically the same engine you get in the new Audi RS6. Imagine the possibilities Of course Novitec doesn"t stop there. Its Esteso" bodykit adds 10cm to the Urus"s front axle and 12cm at the rear, making it precious narrower than an actual bus. The kit is made from something called "PUR-Rim" and comes in 14 parts, meaning it"s relatively easy to fit. Other bits, such as spoilers, skirts and a part-carbon bonnet are available too.
