I had an email from a chap called Terry, who has a Rochester 4bbl carb that he bought for his GM V8 5.7. He had hell trying to adjust it and gave up. It was an American rebuild that he ordered off the web from i5 Carbs. It is designed to fit a whole range of big American cars.
The carb is in pieces but has new rods, jets, gaskets, float and just needs someone with more partience than him to get it running. He even has a manual for it in electronic form.
He dosn't want any money for it but he don't want any more expense either.
Is there anyone in the club that may be able to use it and is willing to travel to collect? Its in Basingstoke but travels to Southampton quite a lot.
