Petition: Reduce Vehicle Tax for cars aged between 20 and 40 years old

Under the current rules a car does not become exempt from Vehicle Tax until it is at least 40 years old. There are vehicles within the 20 to 40 year age bracket that are well loved, modern classics and without a reduction in tax, we may see these vehicles disappear from our roads.

Thanks for posting. I've just signed it too. The Camaro is 22 years old. The tax we pay on these cars is a rip off considering their low mileage.

Nice, numbers going the right way. There must be a 100,000's of cars that fit this criteria. Perhaps not all of them know. Its on many car club websites/facebook pages. Word is gettign around.
