Yes have to agree this 1 year extra they added this wow was it worth it as you say have a rolling 40 year free road tax it would help the car industray by bring more cars into the car scean and allow people to try out the hobby/event as the road tax is a killer on some cars

If in generations to come the ie jag xf or porche panamare be come classics and people want to use them but with ?400+ road will people even bother it's killing use people heads...

saw a range rover the other month with ?850 tax
I am not talking about the ememisions side of taxing issues tyhats another matter

Yep, especially for a vehicle that cant go off road anymore due to their sales/design directing it more towards people taking kids to school.
