Removing old users

We have over 3000 people that has signed up. Most of these done it to post spam.

I got a lot of bounced emails back when the automated email went out about being inactive for some time. Many email address no longer exist, these are from 2012 is mainly so far.

I'm going through each email address and deleting each user account one by one. 30 done, about 900 to go.

We have a better sign up system now, so once I've weeded out the old ones we shouldn't get this issue in future.

Also there are over 400 users that signed up, but didn't activate their account. I'll remove them too.

Have to around 700 users now. If someone hasn't posted at all and hasn't logged in for 2 years, then they have been removed.
