R.I.P. Steve Wright

Legendary radio DJ Steve Wright has passed away aged 69. Must have been very sudden. Probably best known for his Radio One afternoon show in the eighties.

Introduced us to characters like Mr Angry, Mr Mad and the Fish Filleter amongst many more, he will be sadly missed.

He was on the radio for many years. Never knew what he looked like until I read the news article, but can remember his voice.

Vary sad news. He was a broadcasting comedy genius. Yes, I remember his original afternoon show with characters like Sid The Manager, The Newsagent and Motorcycle Despatch Rider.
