Got a decent sofa? Good. You might want to hide behind it. At least if you live in the US. Dodge has started production of the Challenger SRT Redeye today, and it may be worth giving it a wide berth. That"s because someone at Dodge looked at the quite frankly mad Demon all 797bhp of it and decided we needed more of its kind on the roads. So the Redeye takes all of the Demon"s, um, demonic power upgrades and applies them to lesser Challenger Hellcats, before adding a liberal dose of red detailing and a speedo that goes up to 220mph. Unlike a Demon, you can"t pay a nominal $1 extra to add a load of drag strip-only wheels and mods, so this is an experience confined to regular roads and race tracks. We"d recommend the latter if you"re seeking its 3.4sec 0-60mph time or 203mph top speed.
