1989 Chevy C1500 shortbed, picked it up yesterday from Lichfield its got a 5.7 V8 & a LSD axle & uses less fuel than the Astro!! came back from Lichfield on 22.3 ltrs of petrol traveling at 55/65 on the motorway (I know I won't get that round town) the best I got from the Astro was around 21mpg

Needs the exhaust sorting & maybe an alternator re build but Its 'gurt lush' as they say in these parts!

Looks pretty nice. The rear end lights remind me of a corvette C4., and the hood scoop is like a 4th Gen Trans-Am. Overall its looks tidy, and you got some good gas mileage too.

Hi Dan, yes, it has corvette rearlights, not too sure I like the hood scoops but I'm stuck with them unless I can find a replacement hood, I've got a Mr Gasket blower scoop that I wanted to have coming through the hood! I also need to find a cover for the pickup bed. I'm installing the new steering wheel tomorrow.

Had some paint done yesterday by Jobey down in Wells, Somerset.......

Just to show it was done by hand!

Just got to think of a name for it now!
