Not impressed with Virgin Media

Well its Monday 3rd June. Noticed the TV and internet went off about 10am this morning, so went online to see if the problem had been reported and sure enough it has. Estimated repair time Thursday 6th. Thats over 3 days!!!. Not impressed. Having no TV isn't a good time, and need to do some work in the evenings, emailing off some circuit boards so without internet is a tad annoying, I could use data on phone.

I've called Virgin, we have 10 months left to go on the contract, and to get out of it, its ?180.

Okay the internet is whizzy its 120Mb/s. Which is great, but I think I would prefer something going at 10Mb/s and work 24/7. It does seem a bit flaky at times, last time there was an issue was about a month ago, and down time was about a day.
 
Ah, its wasn't Virgin Media's fault this time.
there is some road works in Cosham where they are repairing the train bridge, apparently a digger dug up the cable creating loss of connection for many people. I'm surprised how quick they managed to fix it. Was down for about 24 hours in the end.
