More Revenue Generation?

Won't effect me in the fiesta, sounds like a screaming sewing machine as you go down hill just about to reach 70mph, don't think it can get there under its own steam.

It will certainly generate revenue, a lot of cars whizz pass you. It's not speed that kills its suddenly stopping. They need to get rid of sudden lane changes as they almost miss their junction, or tailgaters which don't leave enough stopping distance.

For crying out loud - why can't they leave us (the drivers) alone!!!

The Stig done a test on TopGear in a standard Vauxhall, think it was a Sigma. He wanted to see how fast he could go before it took him 315ish fit to stop( the recommended distance at 70mph). He done over 110mph before it took that long to stop. U believe the figures haven't changed since drump brakes on a morris minor running biscuit width tyres.

Cars have certainly become safer, so perhaps its time to increase motorway speed limits.

You need to drive the Rover Dan then you may think reduce it to 60 mph to stop in that distance .............. lol

properly why more and more vechiles are being fitted with trackers and limiter devices
