Monitor slow to come on

How is the monitor? Gotten any worse? Fixed itself? New monitor?

Tried to get inside to have a look but couldn't get in so had a look through the ventalation slots and it all looked to be 'Surface Mount'. In the end I bought a new monitor and no problems since (He said while touching some wood).

Just got to recycle old one local tip mybe??? Or did where you brought new one take old one as well like curry's do with white goods

Recycling broken tech stuff
I seem to have grown a large amount of broken/not quite right, electrical stuff that needs shifting. Mainly stereo amps, CD players and various other such things. Is there any where local (Other than the dump) that can maybe strip the Gold etc., and put it to good use?
