A friend of mine is offering for sale this Mercury Topaz.
It has a 2.3 4 cylinder engine and Manual Gearbox
Was bought to do a charity rally, and did so brilliantly, with about ?1800 spent replacing everything that could possibly go wrong 'just in case', so as not to be stranded abroad. The stickers are removeable, but I think it adds to the character.
Only problems to report are a possible heater matrix fault as there is no hot air coming through, and the radiator cap does not seal so you get the occasional bit of steam coming out. But, I assure you this car has done thousands of miles since purchase and has not had any problems.
Car is no longer required and has now run out of MOT and TAX
The offer is ?500 as it sits with no MOT or TAX, or for ?650 he will put a shiny new MOT on it and you can drive it away, can also tax at buyers cost.
