M27 Smart Motorway felt uncomfortable

On the way back from the Hendy Performance day. We took the M27 just past Southampton heading East.
Dashcam footage picked this up.

Doing around 70mph. I see many cars in the distance all changing lanes. Even a transit van pulling a boat went from the left lane to the 4th lane. Getting closer, more cars were also doing suddenyl swerving. There were no lane cloasures at this point. A small VW car traveling at 20mph, probably finding a safe place to pull over.
Could have been worse if more traffic, and people trying to change lanes like that.
Maybe these smart motorways are not so smart after all.

lol, weird stuff on the radio. Limited to what I can pick up when traveleing unless tuning on the go. 98.2 I cant quite get as can only do odd numbers like 98.3 or 98.1.

Lol, it worked on my el Camino same connections all you are doing is changing the frequency so doesn't mater what country
