From the https://www.solent-renegades.co.uk/...-done-to-your-vehicle-today.12964/post-139124 thread, it was found that I have a leak on the waterpump.

I knew I changed this recently, well looking back through the posts it was actually 2013, https://www.solent-renegades.co.uk/threads/ls1-waterpump-leak-on-the-trans-am.35349/ pictures not working, however ther eis a video form 2013

With that 2013 pump off, there was play in the bearings and it rumbled.

I wonder if the same happed to the one currently on the car. Its been on there 12 years now. A new pump is on its way. Just starting this thread so we have somewhere to post progress.

Coming from RockAuto, lets hope it dosn't go to Penzance and get returned to Rock Auto.

I chose to renew the pipes too, the ones I have dont leak, however there are 25 years old, and not to costly to renew,

Parts scheduled for arrival on Thursday. Hopefully get a magnet.

Got myself a magnet from RockAuto

All back together and working
However a slight weep from the radiator drainplug. My fault for disturbing it, the o-ring is all broke up.

Went back to the drain plug. Its at th bottom of the rad. When I removed this there was no oring yet looks to be a place for one.

Brought over 400 o-rings (not counted, its just what it said on the box)
Its 10mm internal diameter I needed after mneasuring the plug.
The box has 10mm x 1.5 and 10mm x 2.5mm. Well the 2.5mm is too thick and one do in the hole. 1.5mm weeps at 2 drips every 12 hours.

Ordered some 10mm x 2mm o-rings, also a few other variations too. May have been easier to buy a new drain plug with an o-ring already on it. lol, or even a new radiator.

Anyway, This drain plug is tough to turn, getting toold on it is slowly breaking it up.
Just designed up a key, that is large enough to turn by hand, and shouldn't damage the drain plug any further.

If I didn't make problems out of nothing, I would have less to post. So there is a positive to all this. :)

Printed great.

Kinda needed it, the threads were stiff, and using a metal tool was damaging it. This 3D printed tool gives you great grip, not ging to damage the radiator plug. Gave it a fury texture, makes it a little easier to grip.

Happy with that. I will need it when the o-rings arrive. Then it can go in a drawer when I can never find it again. lol.

While topping up the radiator yesterder. I thought I'd go any use the funnel I made to decanter a 20litre oil container into a 5 litre.
Would you beleive it fits perfectly snug into the top of the radiator... I amazed myself. I never designed it to fit that.
