Unless you live under a rock, you?ve probably heard about the numerous recalls undertaken by GM lately. As a matter of fact, you probably caught wind of them even if you do live under a rock. With the number of cars affected reaching almost fourteen-and-a-half million, it?s kind of hard to miss. Unfortunately for GM fans, more specifically GM performance fans, they recently added yet another car to the long list of factory fixes.
So what exactly is the issue? Well, apparently when driving a fifth gen, the operator could accidentally hit the key fob with their knee inadvertently turning the car off while it is moving. The Camaro is nowhere near the only vehicle that has this problem. As far as GM is aware, the issue has resulted in three crashes causing four minor injuries.
So how does this happen? well if you are driving with the seat so near the steering wheel you can cause the problem.
