FIA European Finals 2012 ? Santa Pod

This year the 2012 FIA European Finals at Santa Pod are being held Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th September. If you wanted to go for the whole weekend the tickets are ?70 Advance or ?80 on the gate. These are the prices for the 4-day tickets but if you didn’t want to go for that long the prices are on the Santa Pod website below. The gates are open from 1400 on Wednesday 5th for those camping for the whole weekend but there is no camping on the Sunday night.


As well as the Car and Bike classes to watch there’ll be plenty of other entertainment. There will be the Funny Jet Car, Monster Trucks, Stunt Riding, Quad Space Wheel, also two flight shows on the Saturday and Sunday. Not to mention the fireworks display Saturday night. This year they also have the Santa Pod 2 Seater Dragster and for a minor ?550 you can go down the track in 8 seconds and 170mph!


Don’t forget that Parking and Camping is free when you buy your weekend tickets!

We are planning to go at the end of Sept with mum & dad and the Wild Bunch crew so cant really do 2 weekends in the same month. Plus Mum and dad are away 1st 2 weeks of Sept so we are doggy sitting again.

I am hoping to get up for at least a day, just depends on how my son travels as he is only a month old. I usually go as I crew for Bad Habbit racing in PRO ET but the car is having issues so may not be ready.

Santapod is getting close, Really looking forward to it.


This Bloodhound car will be on show, this will be attempting to shatter the world speed record next year, at over 1000mph. It is powered by a V8 Cosworth engine generating 550hp, this is the fuel pump for the huge jet engine with oodles of power.
When this is launched, Sarahs name will be on the tail fin, so keep an eye out for that. Awesome to have your name travel over 1000 mph. Even if you dont see it on the run, this piece of kit will be in a museum for years to come after the event. Providing it dosn't take off of course.


Many more things happening at the Pod apart from the really loud top fuel dragsters. There will be plane fly by's, monster trucks, acrobatic acts, and a fair with night entertainment.
