Good Morning Britain's resident Doctor told viewers that washing cars during lockdown is 'not essential' after Piers Morgan questioned whether he could clean his Aston Martin.
To be fair, the wording they initially use is washing your car "in the street". I took that to mean just that..by the roadside, which I can sort of understand if people are walking past on the pavement. But in your own driveway I would think it is probably easier to maintain social distancing in most cases.
But the article seems pretty loosely reported... almost tabloid-like. I expect some key points have been missed to make the story seem more sensational lol.
