I think I worked out that, once you had used up all the “introductory offers”, subscribed to the entire series and bought all the various sundries you need to complete the model it would be actually be marginally more expensive than buying a fully restored concours condition Charger in the first place. The model of the Mary Rose a few years ago worked out significantly more expensive than buying the actual museum.
Lol, yeah seen thrm adverts at Xmas. First issue 99p, and it makes it sound good to start. Trouble is following issues near on £20 and you may need to do it for many years.

It can get kids ready for a life of classic car ownership though. It always starts off looking like it’s going to be affordable and with a clearly defined end result in sight, ends up getting more and more expensive and taking much longer than anticipated and then ends being put away incomplete in a cloud of despondency never to be seen again with a pile of unused parts that eventually end up getting sold on Fleabay at a fraction of the price you actually paid for them….
Just seen that advert on tv. 99p for the first issue, the 109 issues at £9.99. Thats like £1100 spread over 9 years and 2 months. Hope the company is still around for the entire duration.
