For sale is my brilliant Chevy Truck. It s a 47, so the first year of this body style and also the 5 window version the most sought after.<br />

She was originally restored in the USA, in memory of a Mr Pruitt, hence the California number plate and sign writing on the original tailgate. She also comes with the original sign written bed stakes relating to Pruitt.<br />

She was imported by the previous owner during 2009 who then decided restoration was not for him. I restored her over 2010-11. She has attended numerous shows, been used to carry motorbikes, building supplies and for towing a trailer around the country with my Ford Model A trials car.<br />

In terms of specification. She runs a later 235Ci shovebolt six (3900 cc), which was fully rebuilt, tuned, balanced with the compression ratio raised to 8.7:1 to give great performance. Has twin carbs on a Fenton manifold, 6 branch big bore manifold and side exit exhaust. Running a 70s GM 4 speed full syncro gearbox, Hurst floor shift fitted with a period Patricks conversion (to mate the gearbox to the torque tube prop shaft).<br />

She s a great truck, time to sell as I ve lost my storage and as I m not using her so much she needs to find a new home.<br />
