Changed rocker cover gaskets on the T/A

Brought some new gaskets of rock auto a couple of weeks ago. Though this evening would be a good time to fit them.

First. Need to remove the coil packs, these are just a sub assembly with a pluggable wiring loom to it.

Then 4 bolts for the rocker cover.

Don't these rockers look great, shame they are hidden.

Gave the rockers a check over, turning the engine to take load off each one. All looks very nice, no signs of wear. Oil delivery looks good on all.

All went well. Buttoned up and took for a test drive.
The test drive felt good. :) first time giving some beans with the new setup.
 
Nice! Yeah, the rockers do look good. Shame they don't do transparent rocker covers with LED's inside :LOL:
But I guess it would soon become obscured by oil on the inside.
And your suspension looks good below the engine :cool:
 
They should make clear rocker covers be a nice upgrade.
