Hi All

If you are planning any bowling nights at Bedhampton, you should do it before August this year as the site (including Homebase) is being redeveloped for housing.

Oh no, :( they build anywhere dont they.

I cant see how they can build in the swamp oppersite Asda waterlooville. There is gonna be some serious flooding in them houses and insurance wont payout as its always flooded there.

I agree Dan, those fields around Waterlooville are boggy and the more they build, the less room for water to soak/run away.

Honestly, these property developers are pretty dumb!! Obviously after some ??? as they have no common sence!

Photo of the field by Maurepas Roundabout. This was after a week of dry weather. Water dosn't go, it just sits there. There have dig a troff for drainage but water just sits in it.

The roundabout near Asda, the photo of the boggy field was taken just to the left of it.

There is a place up country, which has to have a water pump going 24/7 to keep the houses dry. This pump failed and all the houses flooded.

Is the Bowling alley relocating, I suppose our nearest one will be Fareham/Gosport then.

Not as such. However, There is plans for an alley on the new Sainsbury site at Waterlooville but that won't happen for a few years. Also 'Bowlplex' at Gunwarf only have a year left on their lease and the rumour is that they will build a new alley in Havant near to the big Tescos, again some time from now. So, Fareham will be the closest for a while.
